A lovely fruity taste. Kept on drinking over several glasses.
heard Jean Smullen give glowing review on Moncrieff's Movies & Booze segment on Newstalk. She was spot on!
It reminds me to Burgundy. Mineral, lovely acidity, and tropical fruits.

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE:
“Pedregal” means a rocky place in Spanish, and that is certainly a distinguishing feature of the site. This is a small, hillside vineyard on the lower slopes of eastern Oakville that's planted with 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Petit Verdot. During 2008 a long-term lease of this vineyard was agreed, which gives Ramey Wines a complete control even in the case of any change in ownership. That year, the winery began directly farming the vineyard. Our farming team, headed by Doug Hill, planted this vineyard in 1990 and has farmed it continuously since.
Very classic for chill out days
