A lovely fruity taste. Kept on drinking over several glasses.
heard Jean Smullen give glowing review on Moncrieff's Movies & Booze segment on Newstalk. She was spot on!
It reminds me to Burgundy. Mineral, lovely acidity, and tropical fruits.

Country: | Argentina |
Appellation: | Uco |
WINEMAKING:
Blessed with a great location and equipped with the best technology, for the growth and harvest of grapes. It has the capacity of fermentation and storage of 500.000 litres in stainless steel of small size, with an automatic system of temperature to ferment each parcel of vineyard individually under strict control.
HISTORY:
The Cuvelier Los Andes S.A. vineyard was planted in 1999 with a density of 5500 plants per hectare. Today the vineyard stretches over 55 hectares (136 acres) with 10 hectares still to plant. The main grape variety is Malbec, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot also planted. This allows the creation of their own blended wines and also contributes to those of Clos de los Siete. Basking in the warm, dry climate of Mendoza, cooled by the refreshing night air of the Andes, the vines are ideally situated to express the character of their various grape varieties in this stony, alluvial gravel soil.
Very classic for chill out days
