A lovely fruity taste. Kept on drinking over several glasses.
heard Jean Smullen give glowing review on Moncrieff's Movies & Booze segment on Newstalk. She was spot on!
It reminds me to Burgundy. Mineral, lovely acidity, and tropical fruits.

On the foothills of the Montagne Noire, in an amphitheater facing the Mediterranean, the stronghold of Saint Frichoux still retains, in its soils, the memory of a salty sea. With the balance of the land in focus, the Pujol family take the canals and reproduce the landscape of yesteryear.
They are the 5th generation to take on the role of winegrower here. Nicknamed the " Freshwater Sailors ", they have taken on the image both literally and figuratively!
Their story began in 1880 in Saint Frichoux in Aude. Great-great-grandfather Louis Biscan cultivated 5 ha; there were 40 like him in the village. Today it is more than 100 ha that is cultivated by only 2 winegrowers. Cuvée Saint Fructueux thanks her lucky stars every day; she represents the patron saint of the village.
